555 Timer in Astable Mode

Astable mode of 555 timer IC is also known as self-triggering mode. Unlike the Monostable mode, this mode doesn’t have any stable state, as its name suggest and so it has two quasi stable state (HIGH and LOW). There is not any external triggering is required in this mode and it automatically interchange its two states on a particular time interval which depends on the resistance and capacitance in the circuit.
